
In a world where food is increasingly abundant, we realized that while choices are many, products that are truly HEALTHY, NUTRITIOUS, TRUSTWORTHY, and DELICIOUS remain few and far between. This very concern quietly shaped the beginning of our journey.
Three people from the same hometown, connected by the same university, a shared passion for agriculture, and a belief in sustainable business, decided to start something of our own. We do not just want to create products – we want to contribute to a better food source for the community. But where should we begin? The answer came on a simple evening.
The Queen Mushroom Epiphany.
During a humble home-cooked meal, we had the chance to enjoy a bowl of Hymenopellis mushroom porridge, cultivated and prepared by the mother of Phan An – one of our three co-founders. In our hometown, this mushroom is called by a name of honor: “Queen mushroom”.
From the very first spoonful, we were genuinely amazed. Its natural sweetness, distinctive aroma, and pleasantly crunchy texture created a culinary experience that was both unique and unforgettable. This moment clearly provided us with the answer we had been searching for so long, and inspired us to share this honored name and its exceptional flavor with the world.
Shortly after, nutritional testing confirmed our initial belief: Queen mushroom is a premium source of plant-based protein, rich in nutrients and perfectly aligned with modern healthy eating trends. Bido Mushroom was born from that simple yet powerful belief – with its very first product: the Queen mushroom.
As our fresh mushrooms gradually gained acceptance in the market, we began to think further:
“How could more people have access to this remarkable ingredient?”
We chose freeze-drying – a method that preserves the structure, flavor, and nutritional value of fresh mushrooms. As a result, Bido Mushroom’s dried Queen mushroom products are not only convenient but also retain nearly all of their original goodness.
Overcoming many challenges, our products have now reached the U.S. market – an important milestone on Bido Mushroom’s journey to the world. From a simple family meal, we are now on a path to bring the essence of our hometown beyond the country – and we hope you will join us on this journey.
